Are you thinking about putting in a last minute R3 app somewhere else? Or can you afford to wait and maybe go EA next year?

considering a last minute R3 app - though of the top schools I haven't applied to where there's time for that (Stanford, Kellogg, Booth, Columbia) I'm really only super interested in Stanford and that's a complete shot in the dark. Worst case I go EA next year but I'd really prefer not to have to do that. I'll be matriculating at 29 at that point.

We both are in the same boat. I am considering applying to R3 schools and will also be 29, if I have to matriculate next year. I have heard from couple friends that Kellogg/Booth are round 3 friendly schools, since they lose lot of kids to H/S/W/MIT/Tuck/CBS. Something to consider and good luck @ Tuck and other schools. You know school might jump on you if it needs to raise their average GMAT scores. :)

I re-read it and the last part was changed: it said written feedback would be available in late March.

I sent a supplemental essay today and the automatic reply now says feedback will be provided as soon as they are able:

"The Tuck.Waitlist@Dartmouth.edu<mailto:Tuck.Waitlist@Dartmouth.edu> email account is the most direct way to interact with Tuck Admissions while on the waitlist. All communications sent to this account will immediately be archived in your admissions file.

If you have decided to remain an active candidate on the waitlist you may request feedback. We will provide written feedback as soon as we are able."

What's the problem of being 29 at matriculation? I'll be 29 just before classes are suppose to start... I'm sure you have your own plans for your career and life, just wondering what would be the problem...

29 is old son. When I was 18 I wasn't sure if I would live to be much past 29.

MBA is not a game for teens IMHO...lol. I knew a couple of friends chose Wharton, INSEAD and Duke instead of HBS just to be with people of his own age. There is nothing to be shame of your age...

Btw, it kind of hurt to say that (or at least type it out). :P

8-) To be quite honest, Tuck was my first choice for some time. But we'll see...there's always hope!

Lol... Yeah, at 28 you're a baby, at 29 you're a grandpa...
Well, I feel young, the same way I did at 25... Life is just beggining!
I might be able to convince my grandmother to lend you her cane though, if at all interested... :-D

I spent last weekend on the couch playing video games instead of going out for st patty's day. I was sick, but that's a sorry excuse, I may need that cane soon.

Finally got an email today with feedback on my application! Unfortunately my feedback was "There is nothing specific that I recommend you work on" Haha.
