Could the timing be any more worse? My battery drained out last couple of hours and I just got access to a charger. My status hasn't changed so I am hoping "no news is good news". No email either.

I just got the call! For everyone out there nervously waiting for a call, here is my info...

On the east coast. My status has not changed from "All the required elements of your application are complete..." and I did not receive any emails before the call. I know numerous people that have gotten the ding / waitlist letter. I think it is pretty safe to say you are in if you have not received a status update email and the "all the required elements" is your current status.

Good luck everyone and look forward to meeting some of you soon!

Wait listed! I guess this is a silly question to ask but I will still go ahead and ask. What are the chances of getting off a Kellogg's wait list historically

For those who are waitlisted and wondering about how it works in general, there is a "Class of 2015 waitlist" thread on this forum. I've spent my morning reading through it instead of working (heh) and there's some good info from the Round 1 waitlisters on there.

In general, everything I've been reading says there are no good stats for any school on the chances of getting off the waitlist. It really depends on the applicant pool and the school's enrollment yield, which of course changes completely year after year.

Are they releasing any scholarship information over the phone for everyone getting the acceptance calls?

this is kind of crazy but I just realized that my part II application was actually submitted 1 minute past the deadline time, I have not gotten any emails or status updates, but could it be possible that I was automatically moved to R3? Is it silly to call up admissions and ask right now?

They said they will begin to reevaluate candidates now and release results soon. But no specify timeline on this.

If it's driving you crazy, go ahead and call. It won't change your admissions decision, so why not? I called about similar right after the application deadline. I didn't give my name, just asked the question, and it was reassuring to hear that I wasn't going to be disqualified.

Wait listed, my status changed last night so I guess all the intuitions were correct...

Sure this is disappointing news, seeing the amount of wait lists on this forum I am guessing it will be pretty dam hard to get out of this "grey list"!

OK just called admissions and confirmed that I am a R2 applicant and will receive my decision today :P

Btw the person who answered the phone asked for my first and last name to confirm my application status...it was a super nerve-wrecking moment, I was very tempted to ask what the decision was...
