Nice having a separate thread, that's helpful to both groups, applicants and admitted.
I got à notification of m'y package shipped and arriving tonight unfortunately I will only see it on Wednesday since Monday and Tuesday are public holidays.

Does anybody know what are the chances of getting a partial scholarship ?

Has anybody submitted the background verification form ? Do you know what kind of information will be verified ? I wonder how they can verify extracurricular involvements while in college.

Hi,

According to their website the timeframe to do that is Apr-Jun 2013, so not worrying about it now ... I think they hire third party agencies to run the verification checks ... they can call in your ex-supervisors, current company, college etc. to verify information .... but beyond that I don't really think they can verify extracurricular involvements in college.

Nope ... not heard back from finaid team yet ... I think you can renegotiate before second year and get extra amount for GIM trips ... not sure if you can negotiate at the time of initial decision ... never asks to hurt though :)

I can't find for the life of me when the fall 2013 school year starts. Does anyone happen to know off hand?

I take that back. I found it on the academic calendar, which was buried on the website. 1st day of fall pre-term is Sept 3, if anyone else was wondering.
