Booth calls admitted applicants the day before, waitlists and dings go out on 28th through the application system

Isn't the result out on Thursday 28th March? That's what it says on the website. Unless there's some new update/email which I've missed.


Historically calls have gone out the day before to admitted students. Waitlists and dings go out on the 28th.

Just to share my experience, I'm from Europe and was following the posts on the thread. When some guys from Latin America said they had received the call I lost the hope.
However, after one hour and an half I received the call! It was around 6.45 pm European Time CET. They did not try to call me before that time.
This means they do follow the time zones when making the call, but not too strictly!
Good luck to all of you who are waiting for the call!

Anyone know why Booth is the only school that has profiles of all/almost all of its international students on its webpage?

I guessed so too. But, is there a reason they have to put in extra effort to attract international applicants? I think I read somewhere that Booth does not get as many quality applicants as the other M7 schools do (partly because of it being in the midwest?) Any ideas if this is true?

Well, Booth was the first university to grant an MBA to a woman, the first university to award an MBA to an African-American student, and the first business school to establish a minority scholarship program. Maybe, U. Chicago is also simply just the first to do what all others should do for their international students as well...
