I was also waitlisted and invited to interview with R3 applicants. Does everybody on the WL who hasn't interviewed previously get an interview invite?

No. You can be let go and never get an invite.

Did anyone accept a spot on WL and got a confirmation email? I am worried that I might have decline the request in utter shock :)

No email here either.


A couple of us went through this last round; there doesn't seem to be any confirmation message. Personally, I called AdComm a few weeks after the decision and they confirmed I was on the list, though I never received a confirmation. Hope this helps!

Please add me to the R2 WL list as I was interviewed and waitlisted in R2. I need to make a decision by 05/06 as I have been admitted to Cornell AMBA, which starts on 5/6. Guess I won't find out about my WL decision from Fuqua by 5/6 :(

I think the earliest we will find out is May 10th. I didn't hear anyone getting off of waitlist before the R3 notification day, but I may be wrong.

I guess that's encouraging. Do you think that those of us who got invited to interview in April have a legit chance to get accepted on the R3 decision date, or are they just deciding whether they want to put us on the summer WL? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question; I am a "non-traditional" candidate and have no idea how this works.

I don't think they would spend their time speaking to you for an interview if you didn't have a legit chance. R3 is always tough but I know people on this forum that made it to the C/O 2014 and were in a similar situation as you. Good luck!

GL at Yale! They've grabbed some great GC members this year, sounds like it'll be a blast.

Taking a trip out to Ithaca in a few weeks, after that I think I'll be seeing more clearly. As of now, I'm still WLing it out, but I'll be pretty happy either way.

Johnson is a great option to have. I loved Ithaca when I was doing my college tours--both the town and Cornell campus are just gorgeous! It felt very homey to me. Hopefully you feel the same!
