On Monday, deposits are due for those accepted in the last round. Who is not accepting their offer? Those of us on the waiting list would love to know. Go somewhere else

Is this for Round 2 applicants?

Yes, deposits are due on Monday, April 15 for those applicants from Round 3. The final decision for applicants in Round 4 will be released on Monday, April 29.

what made you choose bu?

The $70k scholarship was a big consideration. But other than that it was largely the location & I felt for Marketing jobs the Northeast is a good area to be in and I feel the BU (not necessarily the MBA program) as a school is better known globally and as an international student that carries huge weight esp with the work visas being harder to come by if at all I have to come back A) the return on investment will be quicker with the scholarship B) BU is a better brand since UNC although ranked higher isn't global enough.

Also having lived in a big city all my life I prefer big city living to living in a small town like Chapel Hill.

A large number of recruiters at UNC come from the Finance & Tech sectors which would mean I would have to do a lot of legwork to look for a job and that is definitely easier done in the Northeast from a city like Boston which in itself has a lot of options and NYC, NJ, etc are not too far away either.

So, I'm sitting on the waitlist. I check my application status regularly, which says the equivalent of your're on the waitlist. Today I checked my status and it said, "Status cannot be found." At least it's something different. Did anyone else on the waitlist experience the same thing I did?

Deposits for round 2 and 3 were due this past Monday. Also, round 4 decisions are due at the end of the month. With these two things in mind, I start to wonder: 1) did the folks who rejected their offer allow some of us poor souls on the waitlist to become accepted, or 2) is my new "status cannot be found" an indicator that I've finally been rejected.

I have been on the waitlist since round 2. This "status cannot be found" happens a couple of weeks prior to a decision date. This probably means that the waitlisted candidates are re-considered with the fresh applicants. I experienced this during round 3 decision time.

I am also a final round applicant... waiting...

I am another applicant waiting to hear on the decisions. I was waitlisted in the 3rd round. The Admissions Team is conducting committee meetings this week to vet through candidates.
