mujimania, don't take this the wrong way, but after a 770, a score of 780 or 790 or even 800 wont improve your chances of admission. As Alex Chu of MBA Apply puts it, a GMAT retake after any score of 700+ is "penny wise but pound foolish".
It depends, for the SIM (
https://www.unisg.ch/en/Studium/Master/S ... /Factsheet), I really would suggest to do the GMAT another time as long as it has not reached 740, as 720 is already the average score...
You could also add me to the list as I got 770
My two GMAT Preps the day before were also 770, so it seems to be my score. Although I am pretty sure an even higher score would be possible, as on the test day there were some things that did not went so good. The admission system crashed so I had to start over an hour late and I had not enough food, so the last hour of the test I was really hungry
. Furthermore I lost 3 minutes on the Math part, because I came back too late from the break (the women told me the time starts counting after I click the second time, not the first time
)
But of course I was really happy with my 770 and I am now starting with my preferred programme the SIM-Master
