Perhaps this should be renamed to be "Cheap Admissions Consultants" since the origin of the applicant does not seem to matter except in the sense of the economic inequality.

Part of the issue you are going to run into with this logic, is ROI. Anybody who is good will be expensive and it is pretty hard to figure out who out of the cheap ones is good enough. Hard job. If you are short on money, I would recommend you use books and supplement it

Thanks a lot for your suggestions BB. I will also look forward to get some help from one of these books. But consideribg the time frame I'm left with for my applications, I'm a little concerned about whether referring the books would be fast enough.

Cheers!

Thats good enough to hire consultants in India.. Every metropolitan city has a couple of decent (yes, unfortunately they are not the 'best ones') consultants. You may want to visit a few and talk to them and see their work/their track record before hiring them.
I met one, but was pissed off to know that they were even ready to write essay and recommendations and hand those over to me and recommenders.
