Reason for b-school: I want to go to business school to leverage my project management skills in finance in order to make a career change and break into a top 3 management consulting firm.
I want to get into a top 10 program, but I'm having a hard time figuring out where I am a fit since I worked at an investment bank, but not like a BSD front office super star. Have a nice GMAT, but slightly below average GPA.
Was thinking of Early Actioning Columbia, but their lack of financial aid is scaring me.
Any guidance would be appreciated!
I think you should apply ED to CBS, if you really want to go there. If you get in and they don't offer financial aid, then you'll go elsewhere. Also consider applying to Booth, Wharton, Kellogg, Tuck, MIT Sloan, Darden, and Ross.
Best,
Linda
