Verbal improvement is surely possible-- it's not about how many questions you did but it's about how much you improve after doing questions.

Spend lot of time understanding your performance during verbal section and ask yourself what went wrong during the section. Analyze performance on each section. You have to perform in all three part of verbal to reach 40.

Gosh, I haven't planned to see this thread again, since I started it nearly a year ago.
However, it is updadted right on time, because i'm taking my test in 2 days.
We wil see what is the improvement. Wish me luck!!!

Does anybody has any recommendations how to stop shaking and shivering every time I hear GMAT? This feeling just killing me:)

Good lucks to you on G-day!! :)

Well, in order to stop anxiety, try to do what you like most! Because the things you like most can distract yourself from the fear ...for me, the night before G-day, i read my favorite Japanese manga and thought of someone i'm interested in :P ..remember to take enough sleep ( go to bed earlier or try to make yourself physically tired so that you can fall asleep right away) ..good sleep will be the pedal for you to peak on the test day!

If you turn panic during test, make use of the short break to assure and convince yourself to re-focus.

All what you can do to peak is to overcome your psychological phobia by whichever means ...you know yourself more than anyone so i'm sure you'll figure out some way :)

Hi laxieqv,
thanks for the advice.

it is the second time i'm taking the test and I know my weaknesses:
the major one is that it takes quite a long time for me to adapt to the test, i mean the first questions are the hardest for me because my brains refuses to work at its full speed in the beginning. it can take up to 3-5 minutes to solve somth. like x^2+5x+6=0.
even in Challenges 90% of the mistakes are in the first 5-7 questions.

did you or anybody else have similar adaptation problems?
