I just started off with my prep, after my diagnostic test on GMAC indicated q35.
I was doing the GMAT OG Quant 2019 questions, but the "easy section" seems too easy.
Since you mentioned "3. Mostly easy and medium difficulty questions. Not very helpful to a person aiming to get above 700."
Might just start with medium level difficulty questions then switch to other books

Best GMAT Math Books 2019 [#permalink]
I just wanted to suggest adding IanStewart 's Books (six) & Problem Sets (four) to the list of the best quants materials out there. I bought his entire set a couple of months back from his website, and cannot praise enough his materials. The following are my observations:

1. The books and the problem sets are super high level. Whereas other course providers want to broaden their customer base, and so dilute the course (and make it boring, for me at least), Ian's materials consistently challenges you and keeps you on your toes.

2. The books are super comprehensive. They do indeed cover almost all the topics that one could expect on the GMAT;

3. The best thing is that you get a peak into the brilliant mind of Ian - how he explains the concepts, how he approaches problems, and even how he designs his problems;

4.Another great part of the books & problem sets are, of course, the problems themselves. Brilliant. Tough. But most importantly, similar to the style of GMAT tough questions - more reasoning based, and less computationally heavy!

The one 'con' to his materials is that it does take time to go through them. But overall, I think that they are a joy to read and to improve one's quants and overall reasoning skills, and that they have a great return on one's time and investment!

Thanks!
