Is it worth applying at 26 years old? I honestly think it's the perfect program for me, but 26 seems way under the usual age.

Congrats!. From what I know of the consulting industry, you will have the same options at either program. However, if you want strong connections with the silicon valley tech world, Haas will be the clear winner.

There will be more people your age and experience level in the full-time program. Although, I imagine if you have strong work experience and a good reason to attend the EW program, then you will stand about the same chances as anybody.

Congrats everyone who got in! My interview scheduled for March 4th... during interview day.

Can anyone give details about the interview and what it is like? How long is it and what kind of questions? Thanks.

The interview was pretty straight forward and relaxed. It is with one person and lasts 30 mins or so. They ask standard interview questions about your background and future goals. Although, it may be a good idea to review the defining principles in preparation.

Thanks, just saw this response. They have me for full day (with attending a class + lunch + cocktail reception etc.). If the interview is only 30 mins, that would make the whole thing (hopefully) less stressful.
Did anyone go through the 'interview day'? Any experiences/insights?
Thanks in advance.

Applied R3...invited to interview today. I assume they didn't start looking at applications until the deadline, since they don't have rolling admissions? That implies a pretty quick turnaround, since the deadline was 3/8.

Anyway, I would be grateful if anyone who has interviewed already could provide any insight regarding the type of questions asked during the interview.

Thanks in advance.

They do have a quick turnaround! As far as the interview goes, it was very standard. As clearly as I can remember, here are the questions I was asked (I was interviewed and accepted in R1):

Walk me through your resume?
What are your short and long term goals?
Why an MBA?
Why Haas?
What defining principle most resonates with you?
What will you bring to the community of students around you?
What question do you wish I asked?
What questions do you have for me?

As far as other interview advice goes, wear a suit, don't bring a copy of your resume (they'll have one), and don't bring notes to look at during the interview (they mentioned this in one of their admissions videos). Also, my interview was only about 35 minutes long and there was no clear indication at the end that it, "went well" so I would just be confident and don't try to read too much into things.

I had my interview on the 4th.
I almost had the same questions. Interview was relaxed (although I couldnt get relaxed during the interview :P ). The interviewer had a set of questions typed and they were taking generous notes during the answers... The interview was blind (interviewer had not seen full application). They asked me to pick a different defining principle from the essays and asked me to elaborate on an incident. Overall it was a positive experience during full visit. I attended class, talked to current students (they were very eager to talk and share info) and then took the department tour. There was also a student panel over lunch about commuting to the college which was very helpful.

Hope this helps..

All decisions are posted on the decision date indicated on the website. If you are accepted, you will most likely get a phone call the day before the decision date as well (this happened in my case).

Is it advisable to carry business cards and give it to the interviewer?

That is not necessary. They already have all of your information within the application, and that's why Haas tells candidates not to bring a resume. The same thinking applies to a business card.

What's the significance of Haas opening a final round due April 24th? Does this mean they received a low volume of applications?

They do this almost every year and it was mentioned by a member of the admissions committee when I did a campus visit in October.
