Calling Zicklin (Baruch College) MBA Applicants: (2017 Intake)!!

This place is eerily quiet. How many applicants are planning to apply in R1?

Has anyone been invited for an interview from R2? I submitted mine on the 1st and haven't heard anything.

Hi Everyone ,

I just got done with my interview. I applied in R2. Any idea about how much time do they take to reply after the interview . As per the interviewer , they take 2-3 weeks to reply . Anyone else who got an interview invite ?

When did you get the invite? Aso do you mind if I ask your stats?

My scores all around were around were above what Baruch wants and I have generally impressive things on my resume, but my full time work history was below and I'm kind of worried I got dinged without even an interview

Below is a brief about my profile :

GRE score - 306 (Q157/V149)


Experience
Have 4.8 years of work experience in Retail Industry -Buying /Merchandising

Education
Masters in Fashion Management (NIFT , India) - GPA - 3.03
B.A (programme)- Economics and Maths , Delhi University - GPA- 3.3
Did my 3rd semester of Masters from Philadelphia University , Pennsylvania (exchange program) - GPA- 3.8.



you try waiting because Zicklin takes time in replying to the candidates .I would suggest , Meanwhile keep applying to other colleges .
I am waiting for a decision , interview went well but it lasted only 20 minutes so I'm a little scared if i'll be selected or not . Other students had their interviews for around 40-45 minutes . What do you think ?

I guess their criteria for selection is the complete application package . essays/score / work ex and also the interview.

So my stats are as followed.
5-6 years of retail experience mostly associate level.
President of my Graduating Class of a sister school to Baruch.
3.2 GPA BusinessFinance and Admin
323 GRE (165 verbal, 158 quant)
Letters of recommendation from the president of my university, baruch MBA graduates ect.

Feel like I got dinged without knowing it even though my app hasn't gone yet indicated it's been under review but it's been 4 weeks...that seems a bit long.

Baruch usually replies late, that's what I have heard from current students . check with the office if your documents are complete or not .That could be one reason for not hearing a reply because your profile looks good . Don't lose hope !
