SUPERSARS, UT MBA was 5 stars! (I will post a review of my experience at UT.) Could not have achieved my career goals w/o the MBA. That said, I was 39-years old when I graduated. Therefore, even though I interviewed 28 times, I did not receive any offers. Settled for an OK government job. Small business consulting through the Dept. of Commerce. Nice gig, since I got to use ALL that I learned in the MBA program. (Tier 2 college, BS biology, GPA 2.99. UT MBA GPA 3.41, GMAT 630, applied through Consortium.) I was unemployed for 6 months after graduation. So, one day after visiting the UT job placement office, I met a former classmate. He was sitting just outside to office door and staring at the street. I asked him "what up?" He also received NO job offers! He was WASP, 42-years old, MS in a social science, 11-years experience. But he was a "Sword Scholar," -- or something like that. He was NO ordinary grad! He was one of only 24 students who ever: 1) had a perfect 4.0, 2) attended the 2-year full-time program, 3) did not transfer any credits, 4) did not challenge any classes. Of course, high, high GMAT. He looked a lot like comedian Steve Martin. I still wonder how he got along..?
