Yeah @souvik. I might have to. With Stern this has been an issue. They don’t do Skype interviews. So international students have to go to NewYork. If not they do March rounds in India and couple other places. But you won’t have a chance at scholarships that late. That’s the drawback.

Don’t know. But it doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road. They will keep inviting even in December. They offer admits to 1000 odd candidates and only 400 odd accept. So imagine the yield.

Yeah. But if they are doing interviews in March then may be there will be some seats vacant. But I guess it will be very competitive. No chance of scholarship too.

These speculations are NOT true. I know at least double digit number of people who got $$$ even though they interviewed in March.

And I am definitely not going to NY to interview. I can’t take off from work so randomly.

Is it. I have heard people talking about this in the last year thread, saying scholarships might be difficult. May be they are wrong and so am I.

Seeing that I did not receive an invite and it is already over a month past the R1 deadline, is it safe to assume that I will be dinged now?

Those were speculations too. I’m sure early interview might have an impact on scholarships but considering that they are merit based i’m positive a lot of folks will get $ even if they interview in March. The bigger truth is that I KNOW people who got in with scholarships.

That said however, I really think this is not a great policy for a top b school to have.

Got the interview invite! Got exited and then saw the only place to interview is in NY :)

1. Does anyone know if they ever granted a skype interview?
2. Do they provide any visa support/documentation to speed up visa processing? As the possible window for interviewing seems very short

They don’t do Skype interviews. Not sure about visa. I guess we will have to manage.

Hi all, I applied on 10/15 and received an interview invite Friday afternoon, 11/17, at 3:41 PM. Scheduled my interview for Monday, Dec 4 at 1:30 PM so that I can travel over the weekend. Any advice from those who've already interviewed for the 2-year full-time program?
