Hello,

I gave my GMAT and scored 590. I am an economics graduate with agg of 71.67% and with work experience of more 1.5 years and have a startup of my own. What are the chances of me getting selected in Simon Fraser University for MSc Finance program?

Hi Suraj,

You have a low chance. Average GMAT score of MSc Finance is 650 for Beedie, SFU. But you can try as Beedie is not Tier -1 business school so you may have a shot. Hope this helps.

Hey there,
I would suggest just retaking. Anything less then a 650-670 will make things hard for you as an Indian applicant.

The GMATis not the end all be all here but given your profile and the data points at the school you are pretty low. I would recommend retaking the GMAT until you at least hit the average GMAT, but I would shoot a bit higher if possible. If you are not interested in retaking the GMAT you probably will have to explore other schools that are a better fit for your school
