Congratulations on your admits - fantastic job performing so well.
Not sure about your other schools but one of the thoughts - does it make sense to shoot a bit higher and look at the top 10/20 in R2? I know it is highly competitive but $$ from Tippie indicates they really loved you and with some luck, you may score additional scholarship money or at least have more choices with other programs? Just a thought.
As to your question, European schools all do this crazy deposit thing that is an arm and a leg. I don't know why; it is super annoying.
What you need to figure out/decide is whether you want to be in the long run: the US, India, or Europe. Some speculate that US may be a tougher place to find a job now that a new president has been elected. That may or may not be true.... At the same time, going to school in France, has its own impacts - look at the HEC's employment reports and how many people found jobs outside of France within Europe, of those who were not EU nationals. You have to dissect it quite a bit (I have done the same thing for IE and a few others trying to understand chances for non EU applicants). The part that bothers me about Europe and France is the language component. Will many positions in France, Germany, Sweden expect some local language proficiency? If so, that's a downer (something else to research and check with current students about).
