Hey All,
Maybe this is a dumb question, but wanted to get some clarity.
In the main Consortium application, there is an "Employment" tab where you have to list your employment info. Basic stuff, and you have space to list up to four employers. Here's the issue:
I have 5 previous employers. If we consider going in reverse chronological order, two of my employers sandwiched in the middle were jobs where I was underemployed, and the earliest job is actually a blue-chip employer with work experience relevant to my MBA (long story of how this fall happened). But the question is, how do I list my employers in an effective way?
A - Do I leave out one of my odd jobs? This will reflect a gap in unemployment on the application.
Or B. - Do I leave out the earliest employer, and use the space to just list out my past 4 employers? I can then hope that my attached resume will help fill in details about my first employer.
This has got me in a fix. :/ Some perspective will be appreciated. Thanks!
I would suggest that you leave out the job with the least amount of time or maybe the least important job. But ensure you include it in your resume where you have more space.
