Hi All,
I am having serious problem. PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS help. I struggling with SC. My hit ratio is sometime 60% but most of the time btwn 40% to 50%. I am really feeling ashamed to say that. Whatever approach i use, it is not working. I have just bought MGMAT SC. I will sit for GMAT on June 23,2006. I do not know what am i gonna do? Please give me some adviceeeeeeeeeeee.

Hi ya,

First of all dont panic !! You have plenty more time.
One thing I have seen in your posts is that you dont try to explain the answer. Once you explain and write down why you are eliminating others, then after a while, you will be able to work it out in your head itself. You will have less chance for mistakes.

Then, you have just bought the guide. It makes a huge difference in your approach. Try to apply what the guide is teaching you. Go thru OG and try to work out from SC1000 guide as well.

Thanks for your suggestions. I see your post here and you are good at SC. I will take your suggestions seriously. Can you please tell how you became good at SC?

Well, I wouldnt say I am good at SC ..
but yes, I have definitely improved.
Hope it shows in the real exam too :-D

1) Go thru SC guide with OG.
2) Participate in this forum actively. Eliminate incorrect choices and explain why you eliminate them. You may be wrong a lot of times. But who cares !! We are all here to learn.
3) Try working out the SC1000 ones by applying the rules.

Although I am not very good at SC, what I have learned so far is that it is much more important to focus on few questions, then do alot of them blindly. For each question, find out why you got it right/wrong. Eliminate each wrong choice. This goes as a reminder for myself too.
