To all waitlisted students.
Historically Mays suffers from very low yield - that is students actually enrolling, who are offered admission.
If I am not wrong, it is about 50%. Of course, admission teams knows this and admits a few more than their capacity to account for this, but there is still a good chance of getting the admission.
I am quite sure, many of you too applied here (at Mays) as a backup. At the same time, there are benefits of going to Mays - shorter duration, lower expenses and lower opportunity costs, weather of course and to be in a state where taxes are very low. And it places much better too - with 90% + of its students with jobs in hand after 3 months of graduation.
So, take it easy, the WL should move. By how far and by how much admission committee has accounted for while putting some on WL and admitting a few is the only uncertainty.
