Hi thanks. No scholarship. Still waiting on other schools but Manchester was my first choice, so most likely will be accepting the offer.

Hey,

Thank you. I don't have any specific tips as such but keep the essays on point and don't deviate much. Also for the essays, the word count is minimum not maximum as is usually the case, so you need to exceed the limit (I did about 100 words extra per essay).

But it depends on your career journey-- I only have 2.5 years of work experience, so I can only say that much before I run out of things to say.

As for the presentation- I just wrote a essay but some people have done powerpoint slides too. I am not as creative, so I didn't do a powerpoint.

let me know if you have any other questions

Hi Donkarna3

So are you saying that we can submit our application without the presentation?

No.

I meant that I wrote an essay as part of my presentation-- You can make a ppt as well as a word document as part of your essay

Presentation format:
• You can choose the software that works best for your creativity - PowerPoint, PDF or Word
• Maximum 4 pages/slides

So I wrote a essay and converted it to PDF and submitted it.

Apologies if I wasn't clear originally.

I had my interview on the 18th Dec and I was interviewed by Dr Heather Spiro. Noting below questions -

Why MBA? Why now?
Why AMBS?
2 reasons people like to work in a team with you.
2 reasons people wouldn't like to work in a team with you.
1 major accomplishment in your professional career.
How will you add value to your cohort?
Post MBA Plans? How do you plan to achieve them?
If you don't achieve your plan, what is plan B?
What are the limitations you think you will face if you are accepted into the program?
How will you overcome these limitations?
She asked me a couple of questions on the presentation i had submitted
Lastly she asked if i had any questions for her. She mentioned that the school will be shut for the Holidays and i can expect a response from them sometime in Jan.

The interview lasted about 40 minutes. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your info! Was it via skype? Any chance to interview one on one outside UK?

MBS had come to India in November end for interviews-- I don't think one-on-one interviews in person are happening now.

Yes, same here. I haven’t received anything. Does anyone try to contact the admission officer?

I wrote to them yesterday. They’re processing the applications and should start responding soon. Apparently, one of my recommendations didn’t reach them, whereas my referee had already submit it almost a month back. Strange

Same here, I talked last week with one admissions officer that told me that she will have news soon, but I guess that they have received a lot of applications for this deadline.
