Hi Amit,
You have selected some very competitive programs and therefore I'd like to gain a better understanding of your work-related (and personal life) experiences and achievements, to evaluate how you stand up to the intense competition in your category.
Your GMAT score will be average at most of these b-schools. You may want to retake GMAT for this list of programs. A higher score will also help you earn scholarships.
In terms of b-schools, I believe you are better suited for a two year Kellogg MBA as compared to one year. Any specific reason why you selected the one year MBA, which attracts people with more work experience? Also, for this same reason, I'd recommend not applying to IMD, which attracts applicants with more Work + leadership experience.
REgarding your goals, you will need to think much deeper- what will that short-term managerial position be? why? what will you learn/ achieve there? Similar thinking is required for your long-term goals. You will have to show a logical connection with how your short-term goals and MBA will facilitate the long term goals.
Lastly, which geographies are you open to studying in? And why are you leaning towards the one year MBAs? Any specific reasons here?
Share your resume with us and we could help bring more clarity to the b-school selection and application writing process.
