Hello,

I am applying in Round 2. International applicant. Lawyer. 3 years exp.

I want to know if any international applicant here is appearing for the initial view interview and writing sample?

I have given my TOEFL so if I ask the adcom to consider that will that work?

Just want to understand how helpful it will be since 220 dollars for an optional part of the application process seems like a lot.

Thoughts please!

Thanks!

Hello,

No other international applicant here on the group considering/already appeared for initial interview?

Urgently needs views!

Please help! Thanks!

It's anyway optional. I didn't take it. I had first thought it might add value but I was not convinced for a $220 fee. So I wrote to the Simon person and told I wanna opt out of it.

Now that I have an admit, I can confidently say it's purely optional and the adcom doesn't hold anything against you.

Congratulations! Can you please tell when did you apply and how was your interview experience? Just curious to know. The R2 deadline was 5-Jan and it was really fast to get a decision!

Hi!

Just writing to check if anyone who applied in the Jan5th deadline has got a reply?
I cant seem to find a date on the website as well...
Can the round 1 applicants and admits let us know how this process works?

Thanks in advance!

Hi All,

Today I received an email from University of Rochester, Simon Business School stating that admission team has designated me as a priority candidate for Simon Business School at the University of Rochester! The Committee has also pre-approved me for an application fee waiver ($150 value).

Now I am planning to apply before 5th Feb'2018. Any current student or anyone who has already got admit for 2018 class, can please guide me for the application process and about the school? Here's a brief about my profile:

My graduation GPA is 2.36 which converts to 67.2% as per my university norms. My GMAT score is 680 and my overall work experience till date is 4 years and 7 months. Currently I am working as Deputy Manager in Analytics Team for Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
Prior to this, I was associated with a Distillery as an Assistant Manager for 1 year and for 2 years at Tech Mahindra Limited as a Data Analyst in Data Quality Management team.

Shubham

I submitted my application on Jan 5, but due to schedule of my recommender my application was only completed on Jan 18. I did my interview on Jan 17. Just curious is 50% scholarship the highest they can give aside from full scholarship, or are there other increments like 70% or 80%?

My understanding is, any increments in scholarship will be made only on Scholarship Weekend. So I believe it is possible for 70%, 80% or 100% on the Scholarship Weekend day if you've been invited.

Maybe some current students can chip in!

Hi guys,

Did anyone out here get an option to waive the admissions interview? I just received a mail from Simon and I'm not sure whether to accept the waiver or take the interview anyway. I already had a pre-application interview and I reckon that may suffice for their process. It's a welcome offer with my schedule right now but I wouldn't want to put myself at a disadvantage.

Any thoughts?

Hey Guys,

Has anyone who submitted their application on the 4th of Jan yet to receive an interview invite?
