The units digit of any perfect square can only be 1, 4, 6, 9, or 0. Thus, 426408 cannot be the square of an integer.

Unfortunately i dont have the answer,can some one help me out with a quick method.I tried solving by looking at the units digit.
I narrowed down to E.

A quick glance will enable to narrow down the answer to (D) as none of the square of an integer can have units digit as 8

08 can never be the last 2 digits of a square number. So without doing any calculation mark E.
Answer is E
