in D, the early attempts that have mapped... is incorrect as it should show intention ..so infinitive is better choice..

Hi Aditya, I am afraid this is not correct. The subject is "one". "of the several procedures" is just a prepositional phrase modifying one. So, the verb must take a singular.
For instance, The apples of Himachal Pradesh (HP is singular) are very famous.
