I am Indian and will have 11 years of Indian IT work ex. by the time I join course. Of the 11 years, I have worked in 3 countries other than India for a combined duration of 6+ years.
Had just one interview which was just 20-25 mins long. Interview was conversational and questions were standard like why MBA, Why now, Why IE and what can you bring to IE etc.
Interview length made me think I blew it.. but got acceptance in a week
Hi! Congrats on your admission!
I was admitted to Sept 2018 intake and I asked to defer it to Jan 2019.
My goal: I want to use the internships as a bridge to a new role. According to this, January intake offers better possibilities, mainly for one reason: In the January intake you have one month more for the internship, due to the fact that in August the school remains closed fot the summer break. So you can do a 3 months long internship. Also, companies usually look for internships for the summer break.
In the September intake, IMBA in practice starts in February and last until March, what is one month less than in Jan, and it's not so usual for companies to look for internships by that period of the year.
As pros for the september intake, there are more students, because of is more common to start in September, so more networking!
Hope it helps!
