Calling all HEC Paris MBA applicants: Jan 2019 intake

I am planning to apply in 1st March and 1st April cycle. Is it okay for 2019 intake to apply in these late rounds?

If you are applying for the Jan intake, it's perfectly fine. Even if you apply for Sep intake this time, if they like you, they can ask you whether you are comfortable with the Jan intake.

Does anyone have insights on what are the key difference between Jan and Sep intake ?

From what I have heard from current students, there are 2 major differences:

1. Jan intake guys get lesser time to look for internship opportunities
2. For leadership roles in events such as MBAT, you have limited options

Anyone who has a take on this?

from the webinar, I got to know that they have 5 week SLA at max, to get back with the results..

How true is that?

Hi All - I'm planning to apply to HEC and INSEAD, and I have some questions about timing and references:

Timing: I already applied to INSEAD R1 for the January 2019 intake, and I want to know the best time to submit my HEC application. INSEAD's decision notification date is May 25, and I understand that by that point, the applicants would also know about any scholarship offers and have ~2 weeks to accept the school's offer. My initial thought was that HEC's May 1 deadline for a June 8 decision would be ideal to get decisions around the same time, but now I understand that you don't apply for HEC scholarships until after the school's decision. A few questions on timing:

• What would be the ideal time/round to apply to HEC if I want to be able to compare their offer with INSEAD's in the event that I get into both schools?
• Does one have to make a decision on HEC before finding out about scholarships?
• How much time does one have to accept/reject HEC's offer?

References: I'd like to have some background information before I approach potential references. The amount of work required will make a difference as to who I ask.

• What is the reference format?
• Is a form letter required, or are there specific, short-answer questions?

Firstly congratulations to those admitted and good luck to the ones still applying to the Jan'2019 intake. I had received my admission last week and was just curious if we are required to pay any fee to confirm the admission?
