Hi all, I was waitlisted and signed up for the “waitlist appointment” session with adcom. Anyone can share with me what to expect? Do I have to prepare anything? Thanks!

GMAT Club Forum mobile appHey! So I was waitlisted last year and decided to forgo the waitlist and reapply. I reapplied this year and was admitted with full scholarship, so good things can definitely come from understanding how to best position your application!
I spoke with a representative from the admissions office (I don't think she was on the committee). And she went over what the committee felt my strengths and weaknesses were as an applicant. She then told me if I got my quant to a certain percentile, I would be admitted off the waitlist. She gave me a deadline to get it done, but I didn't feel it would be enough time. So I took myself off the waitlist and spent the following fall studying. I also decided to go with the GRE instead of GMAT. I then reapplied, re-interviewed, and received the decision the other day.
The conversation with the adcom rep though was great, very encouraging, open, honest, and left me feeling happy. They're very detailed. The adcom also leaves notes on your files that will get shared with you too.
