I picked E as NY final answer but I would like to know why C is not correct because I was confused between the two options.

Hey Kem12,

Let me try to explain why option c is wrong.
c) Unlike that of a psychiatrist, which allows the prescription of medicines to treat mental illnesses, a psychologist's degree allows

In option c, which is referring to psychiatrist. So, it becomes "Psychiatrist allows the prescription of medicines to treat mental illnesses". That's wrong.
It's not the Psychiatrist but the degree which allows him to prescribe medicines.

Hope this clears your doubt!!
