Hi
arun93,
Thank you for your post, and for sharing your profile. Congrats on a 760 GMAT score! A few follow-up questions: Which sector are you aiming your post-MBA entrepreneurial ventures? Are you currently involved in any community engagement work?
1. Will the work ex be a problem when applying to INSEAD? About 35% of applicants have 3-5 years professional experience upon matriculation at INSEAD, so it should not be an issue.
2. Will startup experience be a differentiating factor in the competitive pool of Indian applicants. Startup experience will be a differentiative factor; however, the MBA applications focus a lot on the qualitative (the narrative) aspect as well as the quant. Therefore, scores and start-up experience are excellent but alone they do not guarantee admission. You must tell your story.
3. Is one year European MBA better or the 2 yr MBA programs in US? It depends on your timeline, and where you want to work post MBA. If you hope to work in the U.S., then a U.S. degree makes more sense, and vice versa.
4. Will there be a scope for scholarship in anyone of the above schools? These schools have scholarship opportunities, usually divided between need-based and non-need based. Each school has its own scholarships opportunities available on their website. Some have their own deadlines, so be sure to keep track of those dates. You need to aim your application submission based on those dates to be considered.

Good luck!
