Hi there,
I am looking for some feedback on my potential at top 15 schools.
Hi @HealthTechDude99
* 28-year-old caucasian male - this is good; obvs white males are overrepresented but could be worse and the age is right
*710 GMAT (48 Q, 40 V, 8IR) - this is not great, but if you do a bang-up job on the application, should not hold you back for many schools. In line with Duke.
*GPA of 3.3 at a top 30 US school - not sure what your major is, but slightly low GPA offset by top 30.
Post MBA Plans
*Likely go into health tech/digital health in a strategy or biz dev role. - this will connect dots and you will look recruitable for this, but does it necessitate an MBA?
*Open to doing a rotational program as well - are you looking to work at large or small company?
Post previous said NYC preferred: I believe it is best to attend the best program for your goals and that will make you an attractive recruit for NYC firms.
In addition to Duke, would recommend MIT certificate program, Kellogg is known for HC. Wharton and CBS as well. Stern is less known for HC but strong in marketing.
If NYC is important, one of my clients is younger than you in the CBS Saturday program and loves it. But he has a job, house, wife and dogs nearby so there's that.
Seems some of the juicy bits about your profile have been removed. The ECs are strong and the community involvement will go a long way with Duke.
strong profile, but need to really nail the app...GMAT is on the low side for all these programs but Duke.
Not sure I would recommend that you retake.....might recommend you go for early action for Duke, self initiated interviews. Much better odds. But it is binding.
CBS early action also wise.
Would love to hear your thoughts
Thanks
