Lets assume, people who drink coffee: K & the one's who don't: L

(1) 4L + L = 60. L = 12. 48 people drink coffee, 12 don't: Sufficient
(2) (K-36)+K = 60. K = 48. 48 people drink coffee, 12 don't: Sufficient

D should be the answer.

Bunuel But Sir it is not mentioned that all the people are either drinking coffee or not drinking anything??? ...So how ans is D instead of E
