Are Kaplan's Online Tests comparable to Pearson's GMAT?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering whether Kaplan Online Tests are comparable to the Pearson's GMAT? I have been consistently landing at around 650 in KAP CAT 1, 2 and 3.

Should i expect to get around the same in the actual exam?

I am extremely lost and confused. :roll:

No they dont compare well. Kaplan Verbal is not at all representative, and Quant is somewhat representative. Down GMATprep exam from mba.com and take them.

Thanks gmatmba. But if i get around 650 on Kaplan Tests, is there any way of finding out what i should expect on the actual test?

Are Kaptests simpler or tougher than the real exam?

I would say Kaplan's tests are tougher. Though they are not true representers.

I agree with the others...do not even try to guess what your score will be based on a Kaplan test. They're good for practice for tough quant, but verbal is off and they're not adaptive. Use only the GMATPrep and the Princeton Review tests to predict your scores...both are adaptive and much more realistic.

Thank You all.

I had my GMAT day before yesterday and i scored a low 650. :(
Well, after getting a 680 on my powerprep, i was expecting at least that much.
