Hi sidsst,

Thank you for your post. Quantitatively speaking you have a competitive profile for the MIM programs, albeit Michigan being on the reach side of the spectrum. I would not spend time re-taking the GMAT. Instead, focus on the applications themselves. They will require quite a bit of work, and you want a clear objective and a strong qualitatives.

Happy to continue the conversation. If interested, please click here to coordinate a free 30-minute consultation.

Good luck!

Hi,
I just took the GMAT and scored a 720. (Q : 50, V : 35, IR : 5, AWA: 4)
First of all I would like to ask if I should retake the exam because of my low AWA and IR scores ?

My profile :
Gpa : 8 ( on a scale of 10)
A couple of Internships in business development.
Work ex: less than 1 year as a Product Manager in a leading e-commerce company of India.

I was targeting the following schools. Please let me know if they are safe or ambitious :
Duke
HEC
ESSEC
Michigan
LBS

Also please suggest some MiM programs that i should apply to.
Thanks.

Hi,
Your profile seems good for MiM programs, an alternative to an MBA for those who lack working experience. The structure of the typical MiM program is very similar to that of a typical MBA program and provides students with a general knowledge in management, making it easier and faster for graduates of the programs to find a management job right after graduation.

In addition to the programs you mentioned, you should also consider:
    - Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management – MS in Management Studies
    - MIT Sloan – MSMS Program
    - University of St. Gallen
    - IE Business School
