n = 0.3h7
To answer this question we need to know whether digit h is less than 5 or NOT because tenth digit will be rounded up if h≥5 and will remain 3 on rounding off at tenth place if h <5

Question: what is the value of n rounded to the nearest tenth?

Statement 1: n < 7/20
i.e. n < 0.35
i.e. h < 5 for tenth digit to be 3
i.e. rounded off value of n at tenth place = 0.3
SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: h < 5/20
i.e. h < 5 for tenth digit to be 3
i.e. rounded off value of n at tenth place = 0.3
SUFFICIENT

Answer: Option D

Hi..
If n=0.3h7 and you take h as 4, that is 0.347..
0.347 rounded to tenth will depend on just h , that is 4 and not 47
Ans will be 0.3 and not 0.4
You are first rounding to nearest hundredth and then that too nearest tenth, which is NOT correct.
Do the required action in the existing number directly.. so 0.347 means just 0.34 when you are rounding to tenths..
