(C) Notice of the upcoming execution to give to convicted murderers two days before executing

(D) Giving notice of the upcoming execution two days before executing --> Convicted murderers is missing, which leads to pronoun ambiguity in non underlined part

(E) To give notice of the upcoming execution two days before having to execute --> same as E

(B) Giving notice of the upcoming execution to convicted murderers two days before executing --> Rectifies noun error ( convicted murderers - execute them ), and eradicates awkward construct

(C) Notice of the upcoming execution to give to convicted murderers two days before executing --> Awkward construct

(D) Giving notice of the upcoming execution two days before executing --> Execute whom? Noun error

(E) To give notice of the upcoming execution two days before having to execute --> Execute whom? Noun error

Hence, B.

I know A is wrong because of "being" usage.
Is there any other mistake in option A.
"being" is just making a run on sentence. so why is it incorrect?

I think the underlined portion is not proper in the question.

MANHATTAN REVIEW OFFICIAL EXPLANATION:



‘Notice being given’ in A is idiomatically incorrect. ‘Notice of the upcoming execution to give’ in C is also idiomatically incorrect. D and E omit reference to the convicted murderers. Choice B is the correct answer.
