To witness...... Is to see.....

MANHATTAN REVIEW OFFICIAL EXPLANATION:



The issue being raised in this sentence is one of parallel structure. The basic structure of this sentence is: to do x is to do y. The only choice that fits that pattern is choice A, which is the correct answer.
