Hey guys,
I have a question. I had the interview on 11/10 with local alumni in a coffee shop. We used the Ross interview scheduling system to set up the meeting. On the interview day I forgot to ask for her email address. So after the interview, I wrote the interviewer a thank-you note using the scheduling system. I have not heard back since (could it be because of how the scheduling system is designed?). A current Ross student helped me find her email address and I am wondering if I should send her the thank-you note using the mail.
Suggestions?
Don't worry, not hearing back from is interviewer is more common than everyone thinks. In fact, most of the time you won't hear back from the alum/adcom. You have sent the Thank you e-mail via portal and it will reach the concerned persons. Still, if you want to send the note to the alum directly, go ahead and send it without second guessing yourself. Just make sure of two things: (1) don't copy-paste the same note, (2) add a line mentioning where you got her contact so as not to spook her.
