Thanks! A follow up question - In the questions that asks if you know any alumni / current students - Is this meant only to indicate meaningful relationships with current LBS students/ alumni? (ie former colleagues, good friends etc). Or is it meant to also indicate casual acquaintances that you have gotten to know over the course of learning about LBS?
I understand that the more meaningful the relationship the better. But is it better to include the casual acquaintances in a bid to show that one has done some research, or because they aren't people who would necessarily vouch for you, should this be left blank?
Speaking from my experience: For alumni recommendation, I used a person I have known for more than 2 years... For the question "if you know...", mentioned 5-6 people, including those I just contacted a month before to ask questions about LBS.
In the end, I got admitted and one of very few got scholarships. I attributed this to that I contacted with adcom/students very early, almost 5 months before the deadline of round 1.
