Re: V12 how to keep going [#permalink]
To be honest, I have read about several people scoring between 10 and 20 on Verbal, and then after a rigorous preparation coring as high as V40, if not higher. For clarity, you do not need to be an expert in English because the test is neither a test of Grammar or a test of English language. The verbal section on the GMAT tests your Critical Thinking, not English.

A V12 is disappointing but do not get discouraged so easily. Most importantly, did you score V12 on an GMAT Prep test or on any other company's practice test?
Take another test in 1-2 weeks and see where you stand. Using these scores, you need to focus on certain question types, such as SC, CR, or RC.

All the best.
