Applied on January 4th - got my invitation for interview today. Politely declined, having accepted an offer from Ivey as they were on top of my application from the get go. Rotman never gave me the personal touch or seemed interested in my application at all.
Having said that, I'm sure they're a wonderful school, but their recruitment process does need a lot of work.
kungfury I hope that it's in your best interest to attend Ivey as opposed to Rotman, and that you're not making this decision purely from how they treated you through the recruitment process. That will not be very long lasting. A few years ago I worked with a candidate who had pretty bad test scores and a low GPA, so it was a bit of a miracle when he was accepted to Cornell, on top of several other lower-ranked schools. His experience visiting the school at Cornell was so horrible he was dead set on going to Rochester or Boston U. Kind of talked him off the ledge and now he's a student ambassador at Cornell and could not be more enthusiastic about the place.
