Selling Price of 1 unit = 560/50 = $11.2
--> Profit on each unit = 11.2 - 9 = $2.2

The profit on each box = 2.2*50 = 110
Let the total boxes sold = x
--> Total profit = 110x = 110000
--> x = 1000

IMO Option D

total mfg cost ; 50*9 ; 450$
profit per box ; 560-450 ; 110$
so for profit 110000$ need to sell 110000/110 ; 1000 boxes

CP of Each Box is $ 450 ; SP of each Box is $ 560

So, Profit Per box is $ 110

Thus, in order to make a profit of $110,000 , no of boxes the manufacturer needs to sell is $110,000/$110 = 1,000 , Answer must be (D)

Ans: D --110,000/110 = 1000
