Hello
Admissionado, I’d appreciate some advice on whether or not should I retake Gmat in order to apply to my target schools
Nationality: male latin american
Age: 30
Target BS: CBS, Booth, Stern, HEC Paris
GMAT: 720 (q51,v35)
Academics: Major 1: Laws; Mayor 2: Economics (both in top 10 latin american university)
Additional studies on Financial Managing and currently doing a Master on Economics.
Currently working on investment banking. I started as a senior analyst and was promoted to director within first year, the weak point is that the firm is a small local boutique with operations mainly inside my country. Previously, I worked 2 years in PE. By the time I pretend to start the MBA I will have 6 years of work experience. Additionally with my father and sister, we fund a consulting firm, so I spend some time working in this family project
Others: In the University I was part of “public interest laws groups” which uses legal actions in order to help vulnerable groups of people.
I was part of cultural interchange programs, trough them I worked in Alaska several times. I speak english and french and currently Im learning german.
Short term goal: PE or consulting
Long term goal: To fund my own consulting firm in my country focused on M&A and post merger integration, which are my current passions and fit perfectly with my profile of finance and laws
Thanks a lot
