Hello, does anyone know when and how long the hub interview will be in Mexico City? I am trying to book some on-campus interviews in the US and really worried that the Sloan hub interview of Mexico City would be in the same time. Thanks a lot for any information or suggestions.

Did everyone who applied for R1 get an email around Oct 2 with the subject line "Your MIT Sloan Application is Complete" with the body text below? To date, the only communication I've gotten from Sloan is an email confirming that my application was submitted.

"Interview invitations will be sent on Wednesday, October 23 and Wednesday, October 30. All Round 1 applicants will receive either an interview invitation or final decision by the end of day Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

We expect to interview approximately 25% of the round 1 applicant pool. Invitations are sent based on our interviewers’ travel schedules, not in any preferential order. We plan to conduct round 1 interviews in approximately 15 cities, as well as on campus.

The interview is an important next step in our admissions process, as we interview everyone who is admitted into the MIT Sloan community."

If they expect to interview 25% they're targeting 13-16% accepted based on yield.


Does that mean 13-16% out of 100%, or 13-16% out of the 25%?

Because if it's 13-16% out of the 100% -- that's almost a 50% acceptance rate once you get an interview, right?

Anyone have any idea what time they will start sending invites out? Or is this going to be a refresh all day event. HAHA

Edit: So based on last year, invites went out around 3PM EST. Years before someone said around 1PM-1:30PM EST. So......after 12PM it seems things might come out.
