FYI, I do not know of any Indian who has received an invite yet. So, I still believe there are considerable number of invites left yet.

Well the window opens at 930 CT and ends at 430 CT tomorrow. The bad part about invites today is that there’s going to be rejections as well, so an email or status update doesn’t mean good news...

I just took a look at the stats. There were 120+ interview invites in r1 last year. But so far we got only 30 this year. Considering that gmatclub was blocked by the Chinese government this year but not blocked last year, let’s say there were 30 invites in China. That still leaves us 120-30-30=60 short this year.
I’m probably just being paranoid. I know Booth has some criteria that I don’t satisfy, but I’m just really hoping to get into U Chicago because of my academic background in economics. Getting worried everyday now.


I'd also add that their email system is broken this year so a lot of people only found out they got invited after checking the portal. Chances are some people didn't post their interview invites because they don't even know that they're invited yet so it is a wise move to start managing expectations.

I hope we both receive good news tomorrow. I’m getting nowhere so far. Desperately need an interview:(

Hey I received an invite yesterday. I am 720 on GMAT. I am supposed to finish my interview by 10th Nov and submit two short answer questions

The numbers indicate we’re still due for a good amount of invites today. This year they started invites a day late because of the holiday and their notification email system is broken. Be aware though, emails today may also mean rejection.

To everyone who's gotten an invite, I see you have to choose on-campus or off. If there are only a couple days on-campus I could travel and make it work and I want to check availability, can I hit "submit" for on-campus and check availability, then go back to off-campus if there aren't good slots left?

I don't believe there is the option to go back without contacting the admission office and having them reset the form. However, I just scheduled mine this morning and pretty much every day was still available. I think it's something like 10/28 through 11/14.

Did anyone else get locked out of the interview scheduling page? I was there looking at options, then left the page and now when I went to return it says I have submitted a time already (I didnt) but it wont even show the phantom date. I've reached out to Admissions, hoping to get this straightened out before the full wave later comes in and spots are harder to find.

EDIT: Admissions helped me reset it, but just I guess something to be careful of for people who havent yet signed up
