You are given two boxes, each with an equal number of marbles. All of the marbles are red or white. Are you more likely to draw a red marble at random from Box 1 or from Box 2?

Statement 1: Two-thirds of all the marbles are red.

Statement 2: Half the marbles in Box 2 are red.

We know that total marbles in two boxes are equal
there total marbles are 2x
Statement 1: Two-thirds of all the marbles are red.
not sufficient as we dont know how many marbles are in what box
let total be 6 then one we do not know which box has more red or more black.
Statement 2: Half the marbles in Box 2 are red.
no sufficient as we dont know about the other. It could be more less or equal

combine it says 2/3 of total = red
let total be 12
thus red = 8 and black = 4
half in box 2 = are red . hnec 3 inn box 2 are red
thus other bx has 5.
hence Box 1 has a higher probability f rawing red
C is sufficient
