The Round 2 deadlines for most MBA colleges are just around the corner.
If you are planning to apply for the round 2 application round then it's around time that you start thinking about your recommenders who will support your MBA journey.
Your MBA recommendations, in particular, will play a critical role in how the MBA admission committee will view your MBA application. So it becomes extremely important to pick the right recommenders!
So how do you ensure you ask the right people to write letters on your MBA recommendations?
Most MBA programs require two recommendation letters and usually prefer one of them from your reporting manager or colleagues who know you well, both personally and professionally. They are rarely impressed by the MBA recommender’s job title.
The MBA adcomm is looking for more insight into what is it that you bring to the table, how you perform in groups, and what is your future potential as an MBA grad.
If your recommender cannot delve into specifics about your achievements or present detailed stories that highlight your positive personality traits, then you’ve just missed a huge opportunity to distinguish yourself from the competition.
To provide you with more insights into how to pick the right recommenders, we have created a video where we discuss in detail about:
