Hi
Sorry for this post but I may have stupid question.
I was admitted for MBA starting in January in Fontainebleau and I am thinking about logistics aspects.
I would be very gratefull if you could share your experiences regarding:
1. transportation from CDG Airport to Fontainebleau (how to commute by train or by bus, what are the options - on the Internet I see out of date information)
2. available residences/ rooms to share (maybe it is possible to co-live in house with other INSEADers)
3. costs of living in Fontainebleau (estimation of food, transportation costs etc.)
Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Hey there. Congrats on the admission. Here are my answers:
1. Usually people travel in cabs. There's a https://gmatclub.com/chat group where you can post your arrival times and then pool a cab with other INSEADers to split the cost. The other option is to take the train, but that might be difficult if you have a fair bit of baggage on you. People use the train generally for weekend visits to Paris. A word of caution though, French trains services are disrupted every now and then due to strikes.
2. Yes, there are plenty of houses available for sharing and that's what most students opt for (in both Fonty and Singy). Houses can have anything from 3-4 rooms (both Singy and FOnty) to 8-9 rooms (only in Fonty), with students taking up individual rooms. There are groups on FB and https://gmatclub.com/chat where you can look for accommodation.
3. Unfortunately can't answer this as I'm based out of Singapore. From what I have seen, accommodation can range from 400 to 1000 EUR. Average would be around 700-800.
Hope this helps!!!
