Yes, your age is above the average age of the class of the schools mentioned or US schools in general. I would advise you to consider 1 year MBA programs such as Mendoza, Marshall, Emory, Cornell rather than 2 year MBA. They are reputed as well. The admit chances depend upon the strength of application and not only on GMAT, or age factor. If you can craft a strong story, recommendations and GMAT above 700, then I think you will have good chances. Once you have a GMAT score or before as well, you can search for the profile evaluation forums of the respective schools. Experts and admission consultants will guide you. While your age is above the class average for the target schools, and your GMAT is below average (for now), you do have a marketable profile. You have a lot to bring to the classroom as far as experience is concerned, and that is valuable. I do recommend you retake the GMAT and strengthen you profile between now and the application cycle next year. Once application season comes around target early rounds and prepare a compelling narrative that speaks to your strengths and why you need an MBA at this point in your career. You should be also able to speak to why a 2-year MBA makes sense for you.

You have a solid profile overall for schools ranked in the 15 - 25 range, cracking a school like Fuqua or Tuck is going to take both a higher GMAT and an application which shows a deep connection with the school. This is especially the case with Duke. I'm not particularly worried about your age, as 32 is still on the high end of the average but isn't such an outlier that it would make schools think twice about you.

That being said, you can still have a great experience and transition into top consulting from schools outside this list such as UNC, USC, Georgetown, and Emory. Being a great candidate from a lesser-ranked school, I would argue, is better than being a poor/mediocre candidate from a top school.

I think your goals for the next 6 months should be to achieve a 700+ on the GMAT and to begin networking with these different schools and building relationships. This is an aspect of the recruiting process a lot of people overlook, as schools care about yield and may be more likely to admit someone who has shown strong interest in the school and has networked with admissions over someone with a slightly better profile but has made no outreach.
