Hi
harshutd1993INSEAD has been the final holdout school for accepting the GRE, and just started doing so this past June. One really can't be sure if they are doing that because enough evidence of GRE as a predictor of academic success has been established (what most schools would say) or if it's because they do not want to miss out on top applicants with only a GRE score.
Yes the GRE is indeed easier in terms of quant, however it's possible adcom have adjusted for that when reviewing the application. My advice would be to do the GMAT unless there is a great disparity between the two scores; or if you just cannot get any traction with the GRE. I have often had applicants take the GRE if the GMAT is just not crackable for them and it has worked out well IF they are also underrepresented where the school can get a more diverse applicant, enough quant to show they are not at risk of flunking out, and the GRE score is not published for that school so they school can benefit from the diversity but not take a hit to their numbers.
All of this to say, not sure, not a mind reader - they just started in June and i am sure the school will say that they do not discriminate against GRE applicants but I think schools often say the PC thing. is it true, well who knows.

MBA PREP COACH,
Do you think there is any preference for gmat over gre for INSEAD MBA considering INSEAD ( and almost all b-schools ) have started accepting GRE for MBA ? ( GRE Quant is a bit on the easier side than GMAT quant ).
